Queenstown is the party town of NZ and a resort town for all sorts of outdoorsy adventures if you have the cash. Not my cup of tea so it was straight in and straight out to Glenorchy, aka Top of the Lake. This was the TV show that finally made me buy my plane ticket here. Then on the next day to Wanaka for a short lake-side evening hike and then a quick up and down Rocky Mountain the following day (425m).
